A film unit goes for a shoot deep into a forest. They settle at a place with bare minimal facilities run by a strange and quirky man called Setu.

It all begins when the camera conks off… They have two days waiting for the replacement to arrive and with no form of entertainment or communication when Setu suggests a camping trip into the forest, they jump at the opportunity. As Setu drives them through the jungle around undergrowth in a relic Jonga, they begin to wonder how Setu can remember the way back as the jungle looks the same all around.As they settle near a pond for the night and sit around a bonfire Setu hears a strange sound. He goes to investigate and never returns. After a desperate search they discover his dead body.

Now completely lost and trapped in the jungle as Setu, the only guy who knows the way out is dead, they don’t know which way to move to get out of the forest… yet another unit member gets brutally killed thereby, making them realize that whatever it is that has killed Setu is out to get them all.

after all..herone and assistant director will save their lives and reches some village travelling in water and then a message appears on screen that wait n see the next part..."ADAVI2"..

nithin who didnt have enough hits in telugu film industry introduced as a hero to bollywood.he did well in this movie too.he played a character named sujal,he is an assiatant director in this film and who had a big crush on movie heroine asha(priyanka).coming to priyanka kothari she is also did her role well n entertains audience with her sex appeal.shw did a role of asha.she is an movie heroine who encounters troubles when she came to forest for a shoot..guatham played arole of sharman(hero of the film) he thought that he s begger than ever in bollywood..rassika played a role as 2nd assistant director.other characters in this movie like film hero producer,helper,stunt man did their rols well.

the main positive point of the film was none other than ramgopal varma.in hindi this movie released in 1000 theaters because of one silly reason that this movie was directed by varma.we can see varma mark taking in the movie.
cameramen did his job well.even you know its a thriller background score is very important.bs of this movie is nice.
songs are nice to listen.mainly "kantipapa" n " kakuludurani " are good.

main negative pont is the story.their is no story at alleven its an thriller no body in theater scared by watching this movie
songs are good but they didnt used in the right way
he didnt narrated climax of the movie and finally told us to watch adavi 2.its some what dissaponting
the length of the movie is very less its around 1.50 minutes only

even we know its an ramjopalvarmas flick but we didnt find his mark in this film.if you like thrillers you can see it once.dont expect much in this movie n wait for the dvd. we hope varma will do much beter in the second part of adavi than 1st part
