Analysis :

Seema Tapakayi is a typical comedy treat from Allari Naresh's dugout. And once again we can see Allari Naresh spoofing other big cinema hero movies and this time he lashes out on Simha Khaleja, Adhurs, Brindavanam in his own way. For all those who are tired of watching a conventional action and sentimental movies, Seema Tapakayi would be pretty fresh for them sans Allari Naresh typical comedy quotient.

The first of the movies goes very interesting where Allari Naresh's antics are evident. Its the timing and delivery of the dialogues that keeps the audio that keeps the audience going. However, director G. Nageswara Reddy should have selected a better storyline and dealt differently since the anecdote lacks depth.

One just gets the feeling that the director was trying to cash in on Allari Naresh's comedy image and flavor. The movie has a hidden message and that's been supplemented with some comedy and emotion where it can touch all types of audience. Its not a laugh riot but the movie has reasonably good laughs with the entire movie spinning on a single track. In this process, there are few characters, which failed to tickle.

TeluguOne Perspective :

Director G. Nageswara Reddy's screenplay is confusing. It suddenly turns comical in action sequences and this dilutes the whole episode. The parody song based out of the recent big films was not that impressive. The director has comes up with a mundane plot and while the treatment was effective, the narration could have been much better. Seema Tapakayi is yet another regular Allari Naresh type where you need not find any logic and reasoning and its rather a time-pass movie particularly in the first half. In the second half, the story gets some serious treatment but with those regular doses of comedy.

Performances

Allari Naresh is at his usual best but its time he comes up with something different. However, this movie lacks the typical Allari Naresh punches and instead other characters spinning around him hogs the limelight.

Poorna looks hot and sizzling, particularly she lent lot of glamor to the screen. She needs to improve on her body language and expressions. Sayaji Shinde has done well as Naresh's father and ignites laughter. Nagineedu, Ravu Ramesh, Vennela Kishore were alright but Brahmanandam was very ludicrous.

Highlights:

  • Dialogues
  • First half
  • Naresh – Vennela Kishore conversations

Drawbacks:

  • Run of the mill storyline
  • Predictable screenplay
  • Climax too pale

Bottom Line

Overall, the Seema Tapakayi movie review is decent and entertains particularly the masses. You can expect the movie to go pretty well at the box office in this hot summer.
