Analysis :

Theen maar movie is a Telugu remake of Love Aaj Kal and true to its name, director Jayanth C Paranji did not try to make too much of the original version. Theen maar movie hits you like a breath of fresh air, where you get instantly hooked by the central characters. Pawan Kalyan has done a very good job by try and putting beside his huge stardom and prioritizing the movie story – in the form of romance. Pawan Kalyan Teenmaar movie could well bring a sigh of relief for all those who are trying to look for something breezy this summer.

Director Jayanth C Paranji needs to be commended for handling Pawan Kalyan in a very sensitive manner. Without diluting the crux of the original version of the story, Jayath just took the normal route and did justice to his character. What's good to see the story narration traversing between two eras. It was pretty well supported by the editing team. Coming to Pawan Kalyan, we have to say that this is one of his best performances in the recent past, putting aside all his action dialogues and senseless violence. He has done the two characters with great ease playing the cool no strings attached dude.

Also, Pawan Kalyan was successful in playing the brooding romantic character and was pretty impressive in the post interval emotional sequences. Even in Hindi version, Saif Alli Khan has played the same Arjun Palwai character, which was extremely loveable and brings great dignity to his character. On the flip side, there are few difficulties in the narration. Its just that uninterrupted talks around of ‘how we are happier today than yesterday’ becomes monotonous after some time. It looks good initially though but you cannot enjoy the same throughout the movie.

Also, the depiction of showing 2 ears with reference to the story might confuse many as they find it difficult to comprehend. If you watch Theen maar movie you can remember Saif and Deepika “Love Aaj Kal”, which is indeed treading a very original path. To be honest, the entire ‘break up party’ episode in the first half is an ace in the hands of the director Imtiaz Ali, who he plays his hand brilliantly.

TeluguOne Perspective :

Performances

Pawan Kalyan has shown his romantic angle after a long time. You can recollect the romantic scenes and memories from Kushi, Badri and Toli Prema. He needs to be appreciated for choosing this role apart from his regular commercial movies. Pawan Kalyan even danced to the theen maar tunes and brings cheer to the fan base. Meera's characterization is brilliant in the original version where Deepika Padukone did a marvelous job. However, Trisha could not carry the same fragrance like Deepika Padukone but we have to say she has done reasonably well. She managed to wins the hearts of people by lending some glamor and good expressions. Kirti Karbanda is adequate and suits her role. Debutante Australian model More did her bit and Sonu Sood was also good

Technicalities

Music By Mani Sharma is good and one of the biggest assets of the movie. Background score is also impressive. Editing is a challenge for these kind of films, but we have to say MR Varma has done a decent job. The set in Varnasi and Ramoji Film City for the flash back episode were well handled by art director Narayana Reddy.

Final Word

Pawan Kalyan Theen maar movie review is a harmless and a one watch Telugu movie. Theen maar has its moments in the first half, whilst the second is filled with melodramatic amidst humor. But all the credit has to go to Imthiaz Ali for this Love Aaj Kal storytelling. Theen maar review will be like a breath of fresh air but we need to wait and see how long this fragrance will last at the box office.
